           Bio: Melissa is the author of The Karl Muck Scandal: Classical Music and Xenophobia in World War 1 America (melissadburrage.com). She is a member of the Westwood Poetry Group, the Marge Piercy Poetry Group, a 2022 winner of the Joe Gouveia Outermost Poetry Contest.
